Well after our last adventure down to Mississippi to assess the dogs at a local sanctuary, I think our travel bug is taking a little break. Great experience though getting to see the difference in pet owners down south as opposed to here in Ontario.
Also, many thanks to all of our kind supporters who generously donated funds or building materials. The dogs were very happy to have their new stainless steel water buckets instead of the old zinc coated ones.
Just a reminder that there are still some dogs left from Hurricane Katrina who are in desperate need of homes. We brought some back with us and have had great success in placing them. There are a couple still available for the right family and our contact number is listed below.

Adoptions
All of our adoptable friends are fully vaccinated and altered.
Adoption rates vary for different circumstances.

1) Stella! My beautiful Stella has been adopted as of February 6th, 2007.

2)Nick: Long haired chocolate lab?ADOPTED as of January 24th, 2007.

3)Tippy:Red Merle Cattledog who obviously had a loving home once. Then Hurricane Katrina took it all from her and left her in a field for over a year in a sanctuary who didn't even know she existed. Her potential is endless if someone can take the time to remind her of what a loyal family is. She is the last one of our fosters....
